We have 42 rabbit hutches producing low-fat and sustainable meat. For breeding stock we have 9 does and 2 bucks. They are feed on dairy meal (to avoid aflatoxin poisoning found sometimes in rabbit pellets), hay and fresh greens.
Did you know rabbit meat is lower in calories and fat than chicken, turkey, beef and pork? This makes it perfect for weight loss and low-fat diets. A rabbit can be sold for meat at 5 months of age.
We also run a one day training course on the benefits of rabbit farming, including how to make money and how to improve health.
