Basic nutrition is explained in simple terms to trainees. Animal and vegetable sources of these essential elements are identified and the concept of a ‘balanced diet’ explained.
This course can be delivered as a two day course if a practical session in our purpose-build training kitchen is requested. This is a hands-on day covering how to prepare a range of nutritionally balanced dishes using energy efficient techniques.
Our training courses develop practical skills and understanding through ‘learning by doing’ with underpinning knowledge. A series of one-day courses are offered at the Real Impact Demonstration Farm in Thika. For more information please contact us.
